Bloomers and boomers!

I love August because the Four-o-clocks bloom.

This morning was smoke-free, very nice!  But then I noticed these cauliflowers growing to the west. Thunderstorm omens.

As the day went on, the sky got pretty crazy looking!

 Wonderful weather station takes it all in. Temperature plummeted from 92.8 at 12:30 to 72 degrees now, at 6:00.

 Uh oh... when color goes away at 4:30 in the afternoon, you know something is coming.

 Many booms and a few sprinkles, though nothing measurable.

 Fire spotter plane going over our house. Hope he finds nothing.
