Pretty skies

Late afternoon sky in Glendale with sunflowers

Afternoon sky in San Francisco, photo courtesy my wonderful pal Susie who knew I would love this array of color.

Wispy white clouds came in this afternoon.

Later, the wispy white clouds turned into an overcast.  Still, it's warm and nice with a little breeze. Dollar Mountain below.

Tall sunflowers all turned east, ready for morning sun.

Glendale always has glorious skies.

It's clouding up!

Cutest little sunflower ever! Too bad it didn't grow big enough to see over the fence!

Taller sunflowers reaching for the enormous clouds. We are promised rain by 11:30 tomorrow night. I think it might be sooner.

Another super sunset!

Glendale's incredible sunset today.

Hot and smokey!

Today was 104.5 and gorgeous, wispy white clouds late in the day.

Praying mantis egg sac on our gate, fresh today!

Here's the proud mom, much slimmer after depositing all those eggs.  I promised her I will look out for them next year.

Smoke makes for a really incredible sunset.

From grey to blue.

The day started with no mountain and not much color.

Good nasturtium year.

Rose pretending to be a lily.

The Mickey Mouse cloud dissipates before I could photograph it in full Disney.  You'll have to take my word for it. Mountain emerges.

Thick white clouds coming from the west. Still, it's blue now.
