Yesterday was cloudy and promising but no rain.
Hard working weather station.
Beautiful colors and lovely clouds.
Dramatic, but no rain came out of these clouds.
Today it rained. And it rained a LOT! 1.10" so far.
We went from empty dry pond bed to half full in just a few hours!
The light clouds look white in these photos, really the sky is pale grey. The air smells fresh and clean after the rain.
The neighbor's trumpet vine hangs over our fence and has gorgeous flowers all of August and September. Note the hanging seed pods.
Love the clouds and the pond. the trumpet plant is so divine. the spca has a very large one and i walk by their facility when walking dogs for the shelter, it is gorgeous.
